Caring Dads is a trademarked and copyrighted intervention program that is run exclusively by accredited Caring Dads Facilitators, in good standing, and according to contractually mandated guidelines.
Caring DadsTM is a registered trademark of Katreena Scott in Canada and other countries. Trademark pertains to program manuals and workbooks designed for fathers and the provision of counseling services to fathers in the field of parenting skills, the provision of training and education to social service professionals in the field of parenting skills for fathers, and the operation of a website with information on counseling services provided to fathers in the area of parenting skills.

Reproduction or storage of materials in the Manual & Workbook, or those retrieved from the Caring Dads website (www.caringdads.org) are subject to Canadian (Copyright Act R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42) and international copyright law. All Rights Reserved. No part of this publication may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the prior written permission of the author.

In order to offer Caring Dads programming you must be a certified Caring Dads Facilitator, trained on the latest version of the Caring Dads Manual. If you were trained in a previous edition you may need to update your training, or you may also wish to repeat a Clinical Consultation series. You must be licensed to implement the program using best practices and the latest version of Program materials distributed online via the Pro-Portal. Paying Annual License Fees supports access to the Pro-Portal and new Facilitators have their first year’s Annual License fees included in their initial Training fee. After 1 year however, the “New Facilitator“ membership will lapse and Facilitators need to switch to an “Caring Dads Accredited Facilitator” account. To help you maintain your status we will send an automatic email when your License lapses. To change your account navigate to “Your Pro-Portal Membership”.
You must deliver Caring Dads programming according to the “contractually mandated guidelines”. In other words, if you offer Caring Dads programming you must have signed a Facilitator Training & Accreditation Agreement. This entire document is critical, but please pay special attention to § 2, 3, 6 and 7 which detail your responsibilities, accreditation and reporting requirements. Facilitator Training & Accreditation Agreement
If you offer Caring Dads programming you must have signed a Facilitator Training & Accreditation Agreement. This should be completed during your initial Training, however if for whatever reason you have not done so already, follow the prompts in the Signable screen below to fill in the contract.
Caring Dads uses a secure online, digital process for signing documents powered by Signable, which meets the legal requirements of electronic signatures around the world. We record every action of the document signing process and each signature is uniquely linked to both the signatory and to the data signed. After signing the document, you will be asked to submit your name and email address. We need to verify your signature against the email address you provided. You will receive an email with a verification link in it. Once you click the link, the document will have been fully signed. Only after you confirm your email address will the document be signed. You will also receive a copy of the signed contract via email for your records.
